Jacob asks, "Ooh, we got her laptop?"

Eben texts the number he just got, "That was a great dramatic exit, but you forgot your stuff. Want us to take it somewhere? Just leave it for you?"

Jacob digs deep into his knowledge, because he's basically a walking library, and info-dumps as much as he can onto Eben and the others, drawing diagrams as needed on the whiteboard.

[CCrusaders] GM says, "And it follows you around the room like a puppy."

GM exclaims, "Zircon!"

[CCrusaders] Eben says, "I assume Eben has a chalkboard, but might can scround up a whiteboard in a pinch."

Zircon makes a few calls and pawns a few more things, as is his custom.

[CCrusaders] GM asks, "Tagging 'I Know a Guy Who Knows a Guy'?"

Zircon says, "Genuine rock-monster fragments, great for all your summoning needs"

GM asks, "Wanda?"

Zircon says, "Here's some mechanical legs from that old Sawing a Woman in Half gag"

Wanda works on four laptops in parallel (two limbs per computer) as she tries to write the code for this.

Wanda spends a fate point, leaving her with 0.

[CCrusaders] Eben says, "Another good reason to do the build montage today instead of next time: spend the rest of our fate points ;-)"

GM exclaims, "And Eben!"

Eben says, "OK, so let's see. With that diagram and those materials, and that software..."

Eben rolls Epic (7) + 4dF: +1 +1 0 0 | Legendary+1 (9)

[CCrusaders] Eben exclaims, "Woo, Style!"

[CCrusaders] Zircon says, "wow it looks just like a real boy"

[CCrusaders] GM exclaims, "Nice! You have a boost!"

Eben even manages to connect the robot to the Power Grid app, so it'll hopefully be easier to interface between them.

GM says, "It takes all night, and all of you are exhausted, especially after the big day you just had. But by the time dawn breaks, you've done it: you've got your mechanical Pinocchio, just waiting to be imbued with life."

GM says, "Just as everyone is ready to finally head home to bed, you hear a beeping from Eben's phone."

Eben pulls it out, having forgotten to have distinct beeps for 'power grid app' vs 'text messge from melisa'

GM says, "And a notification on his screen says: 'POWER ANOMALY DETECTED. LOCATION: CROWNSFORD POWER STATION'."

GM says, "<TO BE CONTINUED>"

Eben exclaims, "Well, Crusaders? Converge!"

[CCrusaders] Zircon says, "huzzah"

[CCrusaders] Jacob says, "Yay"

[CCrusaders] Eben exclaims, "Indeed!"

[CCrusaders] Zircon says, "maybe we should have had a healing montage instead; oh well -- next time! Or the time after"

[CCrusaders] GM asks, "There was a request that we play early again on April 8, at 1pm US Eastern. Is everyone good with that?"

[CCrusaders] Zircon says, "teen girls are tough end bosses"
