TorchKey, not having planned ahead this far, looks left and right for something to steal. There! That'll do! He grabs the portable coffee maker and a handful of K-Cups before darting back up the line! One of the employees working late in the office asks, "Hey, where's the coffee machine?" But *no one knows*.

[peregaming] Kit asks, "Does having trash potentially also help with future complications?"
[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "I don't remember!"

Kit sees that we're tethered to an office building, and are curving around! If I can un-deploy the plunger at *just* the right moment...

TorchKey scoots down into the driver's seat of the '72 Beetle, taking the ship's 'secondary helm'. Aka the steering wheel. He lowers the ship down to near ground level and navigates through the streets like any ordinary car (attached to a flaming dumpster and a giant hydrogen-filled balloon), following all the traffic laws and remembering to signal all his turns. They're able to blend in *perfectly*, turning into the parking lot for the supermarket and taking a handicapped space near the front.
[peregaming] Kit says, "(it doesn't say in the rules, but I think it probably makes sense that if anyone succeeds, the original goal is met, but the ship does still get damaged for every failure among the group? So it might work out perfectly and everyone succeeds (like it did for us), but if we had 2 successes and a failure, we'd move where we wanted, but check another damage?)"

[peregaming] TorchKey asks, "And now I think we just need to get rid of the Watch before we can go inside?"

Kit catches the eye of the toddler, and his eyes get Even Bigger and More Kawaii.

Kit unfortunately attracts the attention of the toddler *towards* him, instead of being able to encourage him off the ship! She toddles over the trash and gives Kit a huge hug, illuminated in the light of a full moon. It's very cute, but not super helpful in getting the Watch away.

[peregaming] Kit asks, "Oh, wait, do I actually succeed?"

(From Kit) At that moment, a horde of Night Watch come around the corner to the *adorable* scene in the air, and they all stop and collectively go "Awwwww...." Then the toddler looks out and shouts, "Mama!" and leaps off the edge of the ship! A collective gasp! And lands safely in his mother's arms, and everyone is so relieved that they ignore the smoking burning air dumpster, and return home, hearts full.

[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "We've never seen such a scene before!"

He races straight up the side of the building to a second-story window that he noticed was open just a crack! And he's about to squeeze through, when he notices a pair of eyes just on the other side, looking back at him! "YIP YIP YAP YIP YIP YAP YAP!" screams the tiny, bug-eyed rat demon!
[peregaming] TorchKey says, "On the plus side, you could safely use a pet card now."
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "True"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "I have three of those"
[peregaming] TorchKey asks, "And after you play one, you'll find out what it said?"

Kit slips inside the crack of the window, but realizes that he's the only one small enough to squeeze through. He looks around, grabs something small and flat, and squeezes outside again. "Maria? Maybe if you put this on your side, you'll be able to squeeze through too?" She looks at the crack, which is about half the size of her head. "Sorry, Kit, this... wait." She turns the flat thing over in her hand, then goes to the side door, and swipes it in the card reader. The door opens.
[peregaming] TorchKey asks (of Maria), "Don't you need to narrate your bit, too?"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "awesome"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "I'll dock the ship before I go in"

Kit sees that the plunger isn't quite aimed correctly, and will need to curve around to nicely hit the broad flat chimney. So naturally, he grabs some twine, ties it to the firing trigger, then scampers out on the end of the plunger himself. Before anyone can stop him, he pulls the trigger and he and the plunger go flying! The force pushes against his face making it go all wibbly, and he falls off partway there, falling directly into the hole Maria made, allowing him to slow his fall by grabbing various loose ceiling tiles. The plunger, meanwhile, diverted from its course perfectly, and THWOKs into the side of the chimney. The ship is now secured.
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "Amazing."
[peregaming] TorchKey asks, "And the front door is unlocked? Have we actually made it to... Scene 3?"
MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "Scene 3: Stealing Trash!"

TorchKey makes it out the window and back up to the ship. He activates the Zipper! The semi-intact carnival ride zips out a rubber grappling-style claw which attaches to the bumper of a shiny, red sports car and begins to tow it outside!

Kit scampers through the house, hoping to find chocolate! YOLO!

There's fumbling from the bed and the noises, 'Argh; stupid dog...', and Kit dashes away again, trembling!

Kit sees the humans heading towards the same room that TorchKey just entered! In a panic, he leaps and punches buttons on the alarm system! Fortunately, the tremors in the ceiling where Maria created the hole confuse the system so that it claims there's a breach at the back door! The adult woman grumbles, and diverts from the kid's room to the back of the house, where we switch to a shot of her looking over a peaceful back yard, with a burning dumpster attached to her house above her head. But she doesn't look up, and grumbles and closes the door again.
[peregaming] Kit exclaims, "And TK!"
[Crows-Nest] (from MariaTripleXXL) Cuddlepaws uses TK! It's super effective.
TorchKey climbs up the exposed pipework through the hole Maria created. Thanks to Maria's early work, the lights are all on, and he can see clearly where he needs to go to step around the caltrops (aka legos) scattered across the floor. He makes it back, and you see something large, boxy and pink just *barely* fitting through the hole: it's Barbie's Dream McMansion!

Kit, now that the human is at the back door, makes another attempt on the chocolates in her bedroom! YOLO!

Kit goes up to the bedroom to see another woman there, sleepily getting out of bed and asking, "Constance? What's going on?" Thinking quickly, he dashes to the top of the stairs, chirps loudly, attracting the attention of the Rat Demon, who begins to bark furiously! Kit runs away, scampering past the bedroom door, the dog in hot pursuit, yapping its fool head off. Kit turns a corner, and leaps up to the railing on the banister and squeezes into the space where he thinks he won't be able to be seen. The dog, not fooled for a second, barks and yaps! Kit trembles, but holds his place until the woman comes around the corner and scoops up the dog! "Snooky! That's enough of that; you'll wake Ralphy! Come on, I know you have food around here somewhere, there's no need to be so loud..." The dog struggles against her ministrations in vain, and she descends to the kitchen. Kit slips back to the bedroom, following his nose, and gets the heart-shaped box of chocolates from the bedside table. Half the chocolates are missing, but hey, it's still a heart! He slips away back to the Dumpster Fire, inordinately pleased with himself.

Then a mother appears, and Kit turns the wheel just so, and it dodges around her! As the car flies by him, he tosses TorchKey the remote!
TorchKey exclaims, "Thanks, kid!"
Kit, in the chaos, then slips away through one of the many holes in the ceiling that Maria has helpfully created.

He revs the motor; the mat scrunches up until the spinning tires, and he's outta there!

Alexa..." says the mom, when the whole house is shattered with a booming "FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRR!!!!!!!!" and it can't hear her any more. Chaos ensues, and Kit, dodging the broom and continuing to squeak in terror, finally makes it out of that cracked window from scene 1.a, leaving a yelling woman behind him!

TorchKey swings around with the toy car, leaping off of it and letting it careen toward Maria. It runs into her, knocking her off her feet and leaving her riding the car out of control into...

MariaTripleXXL throws a raccoon (herself!) off of the car as it crashes, and grabs onto the anchor, which with her weight dislodges it, and the Dumpster Fire is free!
Kit jumps up and down in excitement, holding the box of chocolates above his head!
MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "But now the Neighborhood Watch are out in their vehicles, piloting drones to chase use, MAd Max Fury Road style under the pale moonlight!"

But the Watch is too spread out, and everywhere he turns he sees them -- he doesn't get caught, but he doesn't get out of this part of town, either.

[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "Well I don't really need help punching a hole. maybe I need something to punch a hole into"
[peregaming] TorchKey says, "I'll orchestrate events for you while you're thinking."
[peregaming] Kit exclaims, "Go for it!"
TorchKey adjusts the direction of the leaking hydrogen valve toward the dumpster fire's fire. When the moment is right, it'll ignite, and we'll have a powerful flamejet booster to send us in.
[peregaming] Kit says, "Nice."
[peregaming] Kit asks, "Maria?"
MariaTripleXXL sees that we still have some possums chasing us! So she punches a hole in the fuel tank of the beetle and then pulls a valve so the ship tilts up, and the fuel ignites leaving a wall of flame separating the electrical complex from the junkyard
MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "Stay out or be snuffed out!"
MariaTripleXXL says, "Raccoon sky pirates foreverrrr"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "that's my contribution"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "more firey stuff"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "(Wow, I am so on brand today.)"
[peregaming] TorchKey asks, "Firebrand?"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "haha"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "at least my new CC character won't have ANY fire powers"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL asks, "Kit?"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "Maybe the item we need you to pass us... is the torch"
Kit's awareness finally expands past the hyper-focus mode he's been in, and he realizes that on its current course, the ship will fly directly into some electrical wires! He sees TorchKey waving frantically from the sports car! With the tipped ship, he realizes he has a perfect shot with the harpoon, and fires it at the car! TorchKey catches it, loops it through the steering wheel and ties it off. Just then, the hydrogen ignites in the fire, and the ship gets a huge boost, counter-balanced by the attached car to perfectly spin around twice, giving everyone a perfect view of the scattering possums with burned fur. Then the whole contraption shudders into the junkyard and lands on a heap of trash! We made it!
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "(wait that's usually passed on from the old to the young, not the other way around)"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "We did it"
[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "Woohoo!"

MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "HA! We broke the curse of Jack Brisket's crew!"

MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "We are those who braved the McMansion and lived!"
TorchKey says, "They were a bunch of wannabes."
MariaTripleXXL says, "Totally."
MariaTripleXXL scoops up Kit and then hugs Torch Key as well
Kit jumps and squeaks adorably, unable to form complete sentences.
MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "Chocolates!"
Kit passes out the chocolates!
MariaTripleXXL serves the dog food as well. And lights a celebratory firework. And uses the toilet as a throne.
TorchKey moves into the Barbie Dream McMansion, which is *slightly* too small for him to use as a house, but he manages. He spends his weekends -- which, if you're a raccoon, is whichever day you want -- riding around town in his new sportscar. Fortunately, with the tinted windows, no one ever realizes he's a raccoon.
MariaTripleXXL is the junkyard queen and defender of all those who call it home.

[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "I can't believe it, we won"
TorchKey's coffee maker serves the junkyard well, providing over-caffeination to every raccoon who wants it. And the prosthetic leg? Oh, that's just a trophy. Mounted on top of his mansion.
Kit gorges himself on the chocolate, and then later that night, after people are asleep, goes to his den entrance in the trash heap, and finally makes it bigger. He's grown, he's not as afraid as he was, and he's ready to take on the world. He takes the bottom of the box, punches out the bottom, and makes that the entrance, and puts the bright shiny red heart box top above the entrance, hanging from a coathanger wire.
[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "We did!"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "Awww Kit"
[peregaming] Kit exclaims, "w00t!"
[peregaming] TorchKey asks, "'Grown', or just 'full of chocolate'?"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "heheheh"
[peregaming] Kit says, "For a small raccoon, the difference is moot."
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "And it's almost one in the morning over here, but totally worth it"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL exclaims, "Thanks for playing with me!"
[peregaming] Kit says, "Thanks, everyone! This was fun."
[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "It was!"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "Same"
[peregaming] MariaTripleXXL says, "I'm off to bed now. Goofnight, trashwalkers."
[peregaming] TorchKey exclaims, "Goodnight!"
